This is truly a flagship project of Khak E Taiba. It is probably KTT’s most ambitious and successful project to date. The school caters to the vastly slum and underprivileged community of Muslims in the Misrigunj area of the Old city of Hyderabad. On the verge of being shut down in the year 2006 and leaving the children from backward class with no proper school to attend. Dilapidated mud walls with tin roofs were the only remnant of the school. KTT took over the challenging job or restructuring and rebuilding the school in 2006 with just 26 students on roll. The classrooms, playing areas etc. were refurbished, proper furniture and teaching aids installed. Uniforms and books are also provided. Within two years the school strength rose to 262. In 2008 the KTT decided to provide an RCC structure with all the amenities for modern education for these underprivileged students. This ground plus three floor building was constructed, trained teachers and best of teaching aids acquired. Today the school has strength of 850 students from LKG –Xth Standard. The English medium secular education as per the approved curriculum of the state has been the highlight of this project. KTT in its earnest efforts to provide the slum kids with world class education has hired the best teachers, designed a fully able school routine and even provide students with new uniforms, books, shoes and bags. A special coaching class for students appearing for 10th board exams after school is also arranged to provide additional facility to these students with lunch and dinner arrangement in school campus. The second batch of SSC students have appeared for the Board exam this year.
