Khak-E-Taiba Trust directed its efforts to work out schemes aimed at involving uneducated, unskilled and unemployed women and girls to income generating activities through Skilled Development & Subsequent Assured Continuous Employment. The basic idea was not just, providing Muslim women an additional source of income but to empower them to live a life of dignity and self-reliance. In total 2 Rozgar Centers had been setup in Karimnagar district in which more than 200 Muslim females are earning happily.
• Salehnagar (Slum area in old city of Karimnagar City) • Gunturpalli (A village 7km away from Karimnagar City)
These centers are Alhamdulillah functioning successfully. It is heartening to note that during the past two years, the above Rozgar Centers have manufactured around 40,000 shirts and generated an individual income of Rs 4,000 a month for the underprivileged girls and women.
